Plan B and our partners work meticulously to the ETI Base Code of labour practice. We work closely with our supplier network to assist the implementation and continued support of the code. This allows for working conditions to be improved as well as ensuring a safe, fair, enjoyable and environment friendly place of work.
The ETI Base Code:
- Employment is freely chosen
- Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining are respected
- Working conditions are safe and hygienic
- Child labour shall not be used
- Living wages are paid
- No discrimination is practiced
- Regular employment is provided
- No harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed

Plan B is an active member of SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange). This allows for close monitoring of our supply network and the sharing of information with our manufacturing partners and clients.
Sedex is a membership organisation which is dedicated to ethical improvements. It offers a secure and open platform for the sharing and monitoring of ethical and responsible business practices on supply chains in 4 key areas:

- Health & Safety
- The environment
- Business ethics
Our Sedex membership allows for the continuous improvement of the ethical performance of our partners. It allows for improved supplier engagement, increase in productivity and a concentrated effort on making continuous improvements.
